Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

ScrollBot mobile app (Android and iOS)

Updated October 8, 2026. This section describes the ScrollBot mobile app. The website sections above describe lundmark.com. If you have questions or a privacy request about ScrollBot, contact support@lundmark.com.

Information used on your device

ScrollBot helps you set goals for time spent in selected apps and shows reminders when those goals are reached. To do this, the app processes your selected apps or categories, app identifiers or Apple Screen Time tokens, usage durations or activity thresholds, goals, settings, reminders, and your interactions with nudges, wins, and snoozes. These details are stored in the app and used to provide its features. Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it removes data stored by the app on that device, subject to any device backup you have enabled.

On Android, ScrollBot may use Usage Access and an Accessibility Service, with your permission, to detect which app is in the foreground and when the foreground window changes. Its Accessibility Service reads app and window identifiers for this purpose; it is not configured to read screen content, messages, typed text, or keystrokes. Android may also ask for permission to display reminders over other apps, send notifications, and run a foreground monitoring service. On iOS, ScrollBot uses Apple’s Screen Time permissions and app or category tokens to monitor selected activity and trigger reminders. You can revoke these permissions in your device settings; the related monitoring or reminder features may then stop working.

Optional product analytics

ScrollBot asks whether you want to share product analytics. Analytics is off unless you opt in, and you can turn it off later in the app’s Status settings. If enabled, ScrollBot uses PostHog to receive events about app opens, setup and permission steps, goal changes, reminders, wins, and snoozes. Events can include the platform, app build, and broad count or duration ranges. ScrollBot does not intentionally send the names or identifiers of monitored apps, websites you visit, message contents, or content from other apps to PostHog. Session replay is disabled.

PostHog may process an SDK-generated identifier and technical request information, such as your IP address, to deliver and analyze these events. PostHog also uses IP information to infer approximate location, such as country or city, for analytics; ScrollBot does not request GPS location. Our app is configured to send them to PostHog’s US endpoint. Turning analytics off stops new events from being sent; it does not automatically erase events already received. See PostHog’s privacy policy for its data practices.

Sharing, retention, and your choices

We use PostHog as a service provider for the optional analytics described above. We do not use ScrollBot data for advertising or sell it. Information stored on your device remains there until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it, subject to device backups. Analytics events already sent may remain in PostHog under our retention settings. You can email support@lundmark.com to ask about your data or request deletion of analytics data we can locate. Please include enough information to help us identify the relevant app data; because analytics does not use an in-app account, we may be unable to match a particular event to you without an identifier from your device.

Request deletion of ScrollBot data

To request deletion of optional ScrollBot analytics, email support@lundmark.com with the subject “ScrollBot data deletion.” Tell us whether you use Android or iOS and the approximate dates you used the app. If you have an analytics identifier from your device, include it; if not, contact us for help. Do not send passwords, private screen content, or the names of apps you monitor.

We can delete analytics records that we can locate and match to your request, including app interaction events, the SDK-generated identifier, associated technical information, and inferred approximate location. Because ScrollBot has no in-app account, we may need additional information to identify the records. If we cannot locate them, or if particular information must be retained, we will explain the reason and any applicable retention period. Other analytics records remain subject to our PostHog retention settings; aggregate statistics that can no longer be linked to you may remain.

To delete goals, monitored-app selections, settings, and history stored on your own device, clear ScrollBot’s app data or uninstall the app. Device backups are controlled separately through your device or backup provider. Turning analytics off in Status prevents new analytics events from being sent and does not delete earlier events.
